Irving Singer, Director -
Retired

Irving commenced trading as Austin Chambers & Co. in December 1977 from a small wooden shack very near to High Barnet station. In 1981 he moved premises to 193 Woodhouse Road.

15 years later this office became too small therefore the company moved next door to larger premises at 191 Woodhouse Road which is where they currently trade. His speciality is commercial management and he has built up a thriving department which has expanded over the years. His hobbies are the gym, tennis and having the pleasure of his three grandchildren.

Richard Klein, Sales Director -
FNAEA

Richard joined Austin Chambers in 1985 as a trainee negotiator quickly learning the ropes and soon became the company’s chief valuer.

In 1991 he was made sales director. A member of the NAEA Richard has long established himself as the number 1 estate agent in the locality having an unrivalled 30 years plus experience in the area.

He is a keen Spurs supporter, a regular visitor to the gym & when able to enjoys going on holiday to warmer climates.

Ali Khani, Lettings & Associate Director -
MARLA ANAEA

In 2007, Ali Khani joined Austin Chambers & Co. to lead a small lettings department; under his direction it has grown into a major operation acting for around 350 landlords across North, West and Central London. With over 25 years’ experience and professional qualifications in lettings and property management (MARLA, ANAEA), Ali combines deep market knowledge with a proven track record in complex negotiations and high value portfolio management.

In 2019 he founded Khani Property Group Ltd, acquiring the lettings and management arm of Austin Chambers & Co. and transforming it into the leading one office independent agency in North London. KPG is now a multi award winning firm, ranked among the top 500 of more than 23,000 agencies nationwide in the British Property Awards.

Known for his direct, results driven approach and strong communication, Ali builds long term relationships with landlords, tenants and partners, delivering bespoke, high touch service and consistently strong returns. Constantly evolving with the market, he and his team ensure both Austin Chambers & Co. and Khani Property Group remain at the forefront of a fast moving property landscape.

Lesley Singer - Director/Company Secretary

Lesley helped to set up Austin Chambers in 1977 and has been company secretary and part of the sales team since 1995. In 2000 her role expanded and she became involved in supporting the commercial management department. Lesley is a keen tennis player, goes regularly to the gym and is a yoga fan. She also spends many hours cooking and looking after her growing family.

Sia Navaei is Head of Property Management at Austin Chambers, where he has been a key part of the team since 2022. Bringing over 20 years of sales expertise, including five years within Dubai’s ultra-prime real estate sector, Sia offers a distinctly tailored approach to property management, where discretion, precision, and performance are non-negotiable.

Specialising in a carefully curated portfolio of premium residential and boutique commercial assets, Sia takes a hands-on role in managing client investments end-to-end. From overseeing trusted contractors and specialist suppliers to ensuring full regulatory compliance and adherence to evolving property standards, every detail is managed with exacting care.

Sia’s niche lies in elevating asset performance through intelligent strategy—maximising rental yields, refining cost efficiencies, and identifying value-enhancing opportunities often overlooked in traditional management.
