In 2007, Ali Khani joined Austin Chambers & Co. as a Lettings Negotiator, taking over what was then a relatively small lettings department. Over the years he worked his way up, expanding the department significantly; it now acts for around 350 landlords and continues to grow year on year.
With over 20 years of dedicated experience in the property industry, Ali has honed his expertise in lettings and property management, developing a deep understanding of market dynamics, tenant relations and property valuation, and confidently navigating complex transactions. He obtained his qualifications in lettings and property management in 2015 and became a Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (MARLA). In the same year, he was also awarded Associate membership with the National Association of Estate Agents (ANAEA), reflecting his extensive industry experience.
Ali was appointed Lettings Director in December 2015 and has wide-ranging experience across many rental markets. Having worked locally in Finchley and surrounding areas including Friern Barnet, Southgate, Palmers Green, Highgate, Muswell Hill and Crouch End, as well as in West and Central London areas such as Holborn, St John’s Wood, West Hampstead, Earls Court, Hammersmith, Ealing, North Kensington and as far south as Twickenham and Teddington, he has a thorough grasp of his clients’ needs.
In 2019, Ali launched his own company, Khani Property Group Ltd, acquiring the lettings and residential property management side of Austin Chambers & Co. and its trading name for KPG Ltd. Under his leadership, the firm has established itself as the leading one-office independent agency in North London. In 2021, during the pandemic, KPG became a Golden Award Winning Agency in the British Property Awards and has continued to thrive, ranking among the top 500 agencies out of more than 23,000 across the UK.
Ali prides himself on being socially confident and highly communicative, building strong, long-term relationships with landlords, tenants and colleagues. His negotiation skills and focus on creating win–win outcomes have helped close many challenging deals. At Khani Property Group, and in his role with Austin Chambers & Co., he prioritises landlord and client satisfaction through exceptional, tailor-made services that address each client’s specific requirements, fostering trust and repeat business.
Throughout his career, Ali has managed diverse property portfolios, ensuring strong occupancy rates and high tenant satisfaction, while developing strategies that maximise property value and streamline operations. He is committed to staying up to date with the latest trends and regulations in the property sector and is proactive in his professional development.
Outside of work, Ali focuses on expanding his expertise and presence within the property sector. He is actively involved in exploring and developing new business ventures aligned with lettings, property management and investment, continually seeking innovative ways to add value for landlords and clients. Ali regularly attends industry events, networks with fellow professionals and keeps abreast of legislative and market changes, ensuring that both Austin Chambers & Co. and Khani Property Group remain at the forefront of a fast-evolving industry.

Ali enjoys watching Football and loves playing Snooker and is also a keen Poker Player. Being multi-lingual and fluent in Farsi, Ali has the skills in understanding consumer requirements on a personal level which has proven to keep tenants and clients happy with us in using our services on a long term basis.
